Your PDF stays on your device

When you choose a PDF, JavaScript in your browser extracts its text. Only that text (not the PDF file) is sent over HTTPS to our server, which reads the transactions in memory to build the free preview and, after you unlock, the full rows. The text and transactions are never stored, logged or shared with any third party. Your browser then builds the Excel, CSV or QBO file.

What we do store

• Credit records: a random code, the number of credits left, an expiry date and the Stripe Checkout Session ID. No statement data.
• Usage counters: daily totals such as "previews generated" or "downloads". No IP addresses, cookies or user IDs are stored with them.
• Your browser: your credit code is kept in localStorage so you can use remaining credits later. The extracted text is kept in this tab's sessionStorage during checkout so your statement is still there when you return, and is cleared after you unlock it.

Payments

Stripe processes payments and receives your email and card details under Stripe's privacy policy. We receive the payment status and the email you gave Stripe.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs to deliver and protect the site.
