FAQ
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF itself stays on your device. Your browser extracts its text and sends only that text over HTTPS to build the preview and the file. It is processed in memory and never stored or logged. We keep only a payment token and a credit count.
Which banks work?
Most text-based checking and savings statements with a date, description and amount column, including Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, PNC and Ally. Credit card statements are not supported yet. The free preview tells you before you pay.
What about scanned statements?
Scanned or photographed PDFs have no text layer, so we cannot read them. You will see "Scanned PDF not supported" before any payment.
What is the balance check?
We add every transaction to the opening balance and compare the result to the closing balance printed on the statement. A match means no rows were missed. If the balances do not match, the statement cannot be unlocked, so you never pay for a file we know is incomplete.
